Show me the love
The past few weeks the kiddos have really been showing their love to Daddy and I, constantly throughout the day. It just melts my heart when Jack walks up to me and with his sweet, bright blue eyes looks at me and says "I love you Mom". Then he wraps his arms around me as far as he can and gives the biggest, tightest hugs. Maggie randomly walks up to me all throughout the day, just to simply say "I want to give you a small hug, Mom". I'll take it, I love it!
Easter EGGStravaganza!
This past weekend was Miami Township's Easter Extravaganza at the civic center. The kids were very excited to see the Easter bunny again and do all the fun activities we talked to them about.
Our first stop was the big guy himself.
Then we did face painting. The kids waited very patiently in the long line. Jack reminded us numerous times he didn't want his face painted, but he was more than happy to watch Maggie get hers done.
We played some different games they had set up, most of which Jack &
Maggie couldn't really do, but they had fun playing just the same. We decorated a yummy cookie (and ate it) and put stickers all over a fun Easter sign.
Before heading home, we visited the little petting zoo. We pet bunnies, chicks and goats.

She asked for a "kitty cat", turned out more like a bunny. :) |

Kids' Harlem Shake
We had a play date with Andrea and her kiddos Madeline & Sophia. Andrea brought her camera, so we got all goofy and made 3 versions of the youtube hit "Harlem Shake".

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Daddy's work hosted a breakfast with the Easter Bunny this past weekend. So we got ourselves up bright and early, all dolled up and headed down to the "skyscraper" where Daddy works.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny consisted of sand dollar size donuts and cafeteria coffee, but the kids actually looked forward to and enjoyed taking a picture with the bunny this year!
Then we joined the 0-3 year old Easter egg hunt, which was basically just a mad dash to grab as many eggs in an open gym as possible.
We did a cute picture frame craft.
And then we headed out. Mommy & Daddy were in desperate need of coffee and real food!
