While on vacation Maggie learned how to master climbing out of the pack-n-play, so it wasn't completely surprising to us when after 2 days of being home she climbed out of her crib. Off came the front and we bought the safety toddler bed rail.
Little did we know that "Jack of all trades" would out smart us and find a way to get hurt from the "safety" rail, but flying OVER it and onto the floor. So back to the store went the darn safety rail and away went the crib. Instead, a PRINCESS toddler bed!
A couple of days later after seeing Jack as excited about the big kid bed as Maggie, we returned to the store and got none other than a CAR toddler bed!
Nap and night time have been frustrating and exhausting on some days, but we are all slowly learning this new process. Maggie isn't fighting staying in her bed or room as much, Jack still thinks it is a game, but is getting better. Bed time at night has been pushed a half hour to 9pm, simply because I don't think they were fully tired at 8:30.
A couple of nights Maggie has gotten out of her room and quietly crossed the hall and climbed into our bed to sleep. A couple of mornings we have woken up to her in our bed as well. She is SO quiet about it! Jack stays in his bed throughout the whole night.
